Eletas Bio
"Liberation from Fear"
Presenter: Eleta K Wright MSW

Eleta Wright is an insightful, brave, dynamic, empathetic, fierce, high-integrity antidote to hateful ignorance, who has a deep faith in our shared humanity. She dispenses wisdom by using love, laughter and play to sneak past the defensive layer people can hold in their brains that are barriers to understanding. Her willingness to disclose her own vulnerability creates a safe space that gives others permission to do the same. She does this work to try to undo deep damage and bring more justice and hope into the world.
In her work she creates learning games that encourage people to laugh with and at themselves and each other. She uses everyday items as mnemonic devices that will subconsciously trigger what they learn in the workshop about equity, diversity, anti-oppression and liberation.
