Clean Greens Farm & Market (CGFM) was founded in 2007, by local civic luminary Reverend Robert Jeffrey. This farm-to-market organization serves the stated purpose of growing and delivering clean, healthy produce for everyone, at reasonable prices. Executive Director Lottie Cross manages the 23-acre Duvall farm, which employs members of Seattle's Central District community. The sprawling farm-to-market operation grows and delivers a rich variety of chemical-free produce ranging from carrots, leeks and corn to tomatoes, squash and bok choy. Director Cross laments - “We grow the types of food that we like to cook”.

Their nurturing produce can be purchased during the summer and autumn seasons, at their three seasonal Central District farm-stands (located at Walgreens, Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center). Shoppers find that CGFM's produce is deliberately priced low, to provide access and affordability to low-income families, with proceeds supporting local farmers. Their community efforts extend to providing free boxes of produce to families in need, through their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, as well as donating to local churches and food banks.
